Illumina Infinium HD BeadChips offer researchers a high-density tool for Genome-wide association studies (GWAS) to map genetic variation across human populations and to identify variants associated with human disease. Infinium BeadChips feature strategically selected tag SNPs, which offer greater statistical power, allowing researchers to find meaningful association faster using fewer samples.

Service includes:

  • Total DNA Quality will be checked ($10 fee is charged if DNA quality
    deemed too low quality to proceed with the experiment)
  • Labelling of one DNA sample per array
  • Hybridisation/washing/scanning of arrays
  • Feature quantification (Genome Studio)
  • Quantification output files sent to customer (via Data Portal)
We also offer an optional data analysis service. Please enquire directly for more information.


Sample Requirement:

We request 1 ug DNA in TE buffer (pH7.5) at a concentration normalized to 50ng/uL.

  • Human Omni-5 Quad
    (>4.3 million markers, 4 arrays per slide)
  • Human Omni-1 Quad
    (>1 million markers, 4 arrays per slide)
  • Human Omni2.5-8
    (~2.5 million markers, 8 arrays per slide)
  • Human OmniExpress-12
    (>700K markers, 12 arrays per slide)
  • Human CytoSNP-12
    (~300K markers, 12 arrays per slide)
