home products quality assurance
The Microarray Centre strives to offer microarrays with excellent quality, technical expertise and customer service. Microarrays are printed in batches of 85-102 slides in each run. After printing, the slides are subjected to processing and performance testing based on UHNMAC standard labelling, hybridisation and scanning procedures. Protocols have been optimised in-house and are available to all researchers.
Due to the nature of high density printing, we occasionally observe sub-standard runs. To ensure the quality performance of our microarrays, printed slides that are less than 95% perfect (in printing fidelity and spot integrity) are not released to users. Please read the technical note about our definition of a quality array.
Should there be any concern with performance and quality from any of our batches, please contact us at .
